The dvd The Belvedere Approach is produced for an international public and gives a summary of the Belvedere approach, an alternative strategy for the preservation of monuments – Preservation through development - which became government policy in 1999. This strategy aims to include cultural heritage sites into spatial planning; because cultural heritage can add to planning an extra cultural dimension and identity. And, vice versa: spatial development can also be an opportunity to safeguard cultural heritage sites. The film summarizes the results of 10 years of working with the Belvedere Approach.
